Here at Little Explorers Crawley, we recognise the importance of the early stages of a child’s development.
Our qualified team of practitioners and educators have an extensive range of experience in working with children creating an ideal environment for children to flourish.
The nursery is made up of three rooms, babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. The rooms are set up to feel homely and comfortable for the children to freely explore their surroundings. The layouts of the rooms are designed and set up by the team and are influenced by the children’s interests
Our team of practitioners have extensive knowledge on child development and are always expanding their knowledge by undertaking additional courses
We focus on the three prime areas of learning, as well as the other four areas, which are implemented through all activities and provocations for the children to engage in. All activities and learning moments are focused on the children’s interests, and then are extended to build on their knowledge and overall development.

Outdoor Space
All learning and activities are also reflected in the outdoor space we have for the children, our baby garden is designed to support their physical development, for example bikes and buggies for the children to use. Not only this, but we also have a mud kitchen for them to engage in, and a slide for them to focus on their gross motor movements.
Our other garden provides an outdoor seating area for the children to engage in pretend play, as well as a mud kitchen, filled with tools to support their imaginative play. There are also areas for the children to develop on their fine motor skills, for example in the sand pit and water tray. All equipment is catered to the children’s ages and interests, using natural and holistic resources.

Our amazing team of caring, compassionate practitioners help to create a happy, exciting, learning environment for children to flourish. Our children “love” their day at nursery and can’t wait to tell Mum & Dad all about it.
Children are happy and excited to come into the setting, throughout the day are provided with amazing learning opportunities.
