Little Explorers at Janes Lane is a warm, nurturing and neighbourly setting, inhibiting a home-from-home style environment for your little ones to thrive in.

We are made up of one room with a division between our under twos, and toddlers and preschool. Sharing one area reinforces a familial feel and encourages our children to play amongst a mixture of ages, which aids their social development and societal integration. 

Here at Little Explorers, we pride ourselves on the unconditional care we provide, and this translates into the bright beaming smiles on young faces that greet us at our door.

    Truly Tailored Curriculum

    As a result of our unique capacity, our team of qualified practitioners are lucky enough to get to know every child on an individual basis and can provide a truly tailored curriculum where every childs interests and needs are catered for. 

    Our setting takes pride in the delicious freshly cooked meals, which are all prepared on site by our wonderful chef. This means we can tend to every single child’s dietary requirement and needs. 

    Little Explorers promotes as much time as possible spent in the outdoors.

    This is supported by our garden space, played in by all ages, which overlooks a large field and play park.

    This allows for our many nature walks, as we are close to a beautiful nature reserve. Janes Lane is additionally a short walk from the town library, which all of our children enjoy trips to regularly. This proves a fantastic aid to our children’s gross motor skills and improves socialisation on a grander scale.

    Little Explorers is the most fantastic nursery. The staff are amazing – they are very caring and encouraging towards each child individually, and they are constantly finding new ways to help the children learn through their interests and play. Our son is excited to go to nursery everyday and is proud to put on his ‘big boy’ uniform! 5 Stars from us!

    Your staff really make a difference. They treat the kids including my Brody with care and love. The facilities are great also. I always get a detailed description of Brody’s day at the nursery, and he is always welcomed and sent off well. For so many reasons – it’s a big 5 stars from me!

    After moving into the area and struggling finding places for my son, he got a place at Little Explorers – and I couldn’t recommended them enough! He settled in perfectly thanks to the amazing set up, staff and happy environment. My newborn will definitely be joining the fun soon too – thank you all.

    When my daughter was two and a half she started nursery. She didn’t settle well so I decided to look at other options. As a result I moved her to Little Explorers. I am so pleased I made the move. She loved it from day one, looking forward to going each day. The staff were fantastic with her, providing amazing care, patience and support during her early years.
