Hello, I'm Clare, the owner of Little Explorers Nursery and Preschool. I set the nursery up with the help of my husband Rick in April 2014. We have three children who keep us very busy in our spare time, and two lovely dogs who have completed our family. I've always had a passion for cooking - both cooking at home for my three children, and at work. I am a keen baker and will often bakes treats for the team. I really enjoy cooking delicious meals for the children at Little Explorers, and I have my level 2 in Food Hygiene. When I am not too busy in the kitchen I love to help with caring for the children, and I have years of experience - including my level 2 in Child Care and Education.

Hello my name is Shannon and I joined the team in September 2017 as an apprentice Nursery Practitioner, currently working at level 2. I have previously been a sports leader assisting young children from primary and secondary school age. I have also assisted young children though dance, as I enjoy helping children through these activities. In my spare time I enjoy dancing and singing.

I am committed to learning and gaining all the relevant qualifications to develop my role as SENCO Co-ordinator. Hello, my name is Megan and I am a supply member of staff for Little Explorers. I began working back in the summer of 2017 and I am loving every moment. I have experience with helping out in a local school and I regularly babysit for family and friends. I am extremely passionate about working with children and have enjoyed seeing them learn and grow through my time working here.
I’m Rebecca, I’m a Mummy of 4. I’ve been with Little Explorers since the day it opened, and it's been amazing to see the nursery go from strength to strength.
I work in the kitchen 3 days a week. I love preparing nutritious meals for the children and watching them try new foods. I feel lucky to be working within such a great team.

Seeing our Little Explorer's through their journeys with us from start to finish makes my job so worth while. That we have played a part in educating precious young minds, and watched them flourish during their time with us means the world to me. My name is Sandra, and I am the SENCO at Little Explorers (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator). I have two (grown up) children. When the youngest started school, I started on my career in childcare, initially as a volunteer for the Social Services Sitting Service and then at a specialist nursery for children with additional needs. I obtained my Cache Level 3 in Pre-school Practice in 2006 and regularly attend training to keep up to date with current practice. I enjoy working with under 5’s particularly supporting those with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
